Abstract Submission Guidelines
Deadline for Abstract Submission: Friday 2nd July 2010
The organising committee of ANZSPM 2010 conference is pleased to invite abstract submissions for oral or poster presentations at the ANZSPM Ars moriendi conference in Adelaide from 14-17 September 2010. First time as well as more experienced presenters are encouraged to apply. Share with your colleagues your research, interesting cases, patient stories or new and innovative ways of practice.
SUBMITTING YOUR ABSTRACT
- Your abstract needs to be submitted as a word document and uploaded at the end of the online abstract submission process.
- When you are ready to submit your abstract, click on the button that says "Click here to submit first time abstract" below.
- You will be taken, step by step through the submission process and the very last step is to upload your abstract.
- Please ensure the presenting author's details are those submitted, as all correspondence will be sent to this person.
- Once you have completed the online process, you will need to log in to confirm your abstract has been successfully uploaded. This is done by clicking on the Abstract Zone button below and entering your access key when prompted (this is given to you during the submission process).
- NOTE: Sometimes it can take up to 24 hours for you to be able to view a document you have just uploaded. Please wait 24hours and if you still cannot see your abstract as a PDF contact the Conference Secretariat.
SUBMITTING ADDITIONAL ABSTRACT'S
- If you have already submitted an abstract and wish to submit a second, click on the Abstract Zone button and enter your access key when prompted.
- Click on the link "submit new abstract"

FORMATTING YOUR ABSTRACT
Abstracts should be formatted as follows:
- Paper Title - (CAPITAL CASE, Arial, font size 12 Bold)
- Full Author List - (Title Case, Arial, font size 10 Bold) with the presenting author's name underlined
- List of Author affiliations and country - (Title Case, Arial, font size 10 italics)
- Descriptive text including tables - (Sentence Case, Arial font size 10). * Note that characters and symbols must be inserted into the document using the INSERT SYMBOL function, not by changing the font, and please do not use document styles.
- The abstract, without subheadings, should be in the following form: Aims, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
- Cite references in numeric order in parentheses according to first mention in the text (Arial font size 10).
- Overall word count, including titles and affiliations must not exceed 400 words.
- Figures are NOT acceptable.
